After updating to iOS 13.1.2 from 12.4.1, my iPhone 8 now has an annoying click sound when I long press an app icon with 3D Touch enabled. When long pressing, this is the behavior:
  • Normal, non-silent mode: vibration + audible click sound
  • Silent mode: vibration (no audible click)
I have turned off system haptics under "Sounds & Haptics" menu but this doesn't change the behavior. It only goes away if I disable 3D Touch but I don't want to disable 3D Touch. Is there an option somewhere to disable this click sound? I've search everywhere in settings. Perhaps this is a bug? This did not happen in iOS 12.4.1.

It is not a bug.

The click is the same sound you would hear only when 3D pressing the flashlight from the lockscreen on the iPhone X series.

With iOS 13, you can now hear this click on most 3D touch actions and you cannot disable it so better get used to it.

But at least 3D Touch function is still operable in 13? I use it a reasonable amount and have avoided updating for wanting to continue using it and also because of a varied list of buggy reasons that I don't need to experience right now. My XS Max and I are waiting on 13.2 at least.
