I have used the online support suggestions such as phone on/off delete acct, reboot, reenter all info, etc... Still IMAP server will not respond (Yes everything works on my phone OS 12.4) I bought this phone 17 months ago where they put all the data needed to use my existing email (which mirrors my iMac) and has worked perfectly until several days ago when it quit. I may be putting in the wrong info for my email acct but how am I to know all of those details. If it asks for a HOST name....I don't have that info..never needed it. Even Apple gives sparse advise leaving out little details like I am supposed to know those details. If I put something wrong into the account details,I wish it would be pointed out. It just keeps saying imap server not connecting please check account inf
ne last item...Apple requested I change my password close to the time email stopped working. I did change it. I use MAC mail/Imac 10.13.6/iPhone 12.4 If you have a clue what may be wrong and can provide detailed answer please help. Thank you in advance.
