So this is a weird situation I’ve been noticing since last couple of days.

When I listen to Spotify over cellular network, the lower back of my iPhone 8 Plus is heating up above average and is draining the battery quicker as well.

- I haven’t changed my usage pattern whatsoever.

- Spotify hasn’t really released any update in at least a month.

Has anyone else noticed anything similar and managed to get to the bottom of it?

Actually that was the first thing I did after experiencing this.

Putting the phone in front of an Air conditioner vent might cool the phone down?
[doublepost=1530240480][/doublepost]While cooling it with an AC vent you could also charge it as well.

Streaming music over cellular is very draining on battery. It always has been.

Using Wifi would help if possible, or downloading the music onto the device before listening would be even better.

Obviously the convenience of streaming over cellular is very nice, but its the least efficient way to listen to music.

Yeah I know all that. It’s just the device is getting hotter and loosing battery faster in the last couple of days. So wondered if someone else has faced a sudden change like that.

Getting it too cool if you live in a place like Florida would be a mistake as when you leave you vehicle your cool phone will start to sweat with condensation.
