Hi,
A few days ago, I noticed that several little white spots had appeared on my device. On further inspection, the paint had gone missing as you could feel an indent on the paint. Never dropped the phone. I contacted Apple and a product specialist said that this should not happen. I have also been using the Apple Silicone Case since I got the phone. Just wondering, have you or anybody else experienced an issue like this on their iPhone 8 Plus/8?
Thanks,
Appleman11

It's likely an issue with the anodization process on the aluminum. Apple will replace it under warranty.
