iPhone 8 Plus photo album question

Hello! This is my first post. I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to CUT & PASTE photos into a new album? I know how to add them to another album. With a lot of photos in the camera roll album, it's hard to find things. Thanks for the help in advance.

You don't cut from the camera roll, that's the location of all your pictures. Just add them to an album, you'll have to leave them in the camera roll. If you delete ( = cut) from the camera roll, you'll delete them from your phone.

Thanks, yes I thought that would be the case. I guess I was hoping someone would find a way around it. Thanks for responding.
