Disk performance( especially random io) is very important to the speed of whole device.
And for the SSD , the larger the faster.
So is 64g tlc of iphone 8 slower than 128g tlc of iphone7??

Here is my 256GB 7+

Slower across the board other than random read, which is slightly faster.

yeah flash speed won't matter for real world usage speed,

its probably iOS 11 being buggy coupled with new a11 SoC that needs ironing out, vs actually being slower
