iPhone 8/Plus/X fast charging on Macbook Pro

Has anyone tested charging iPhone 8/8 Plus on 15" Macbook Pro through USB-C to Lightning cable?

Will it gain same charging speed as that 29W USB‑C Power Adapter?

It most likely won’t. The output power on a PC/Laptop isn’t much.
