ok folks, just a few minutes ago I was reading something on my iPhone and the screen went black. The same thing happened a few weeks ago but I figured it was a glitch. So today the same thing. Has anyone had this issue?

I assume it's not just a matter of your phone going to sleep because you hadn't touched the screen in a while? If it's in low power mode that happens very quickly.

No it was not that at all. It happened twice already!

Restart the phone. Does the problem repeat?

I did that the first time it happened.

So your phone is defective. Back it up, and if you have an Apple Store nearby, take it in and it will be repaired or replaced.
