IPhone 8 Problems Updating Apps

My IPhone 8 plus is a pain to update apps. On either wi-fi or cellular data, apps don't update, they just spin without downloading. If I do a hard reset, I can often get them to download, but the next time I try, it does not work.

Anyone else finding this a problem? It is not an issue on my Iphone 7, just this new one.

try closing the app store app by swiping up from double clicking home button, then do hard reset again

Yeah I’ve had it happen three times on my 8+. Restarting the phone is the only way to get the updates to go through.

Thanks for comments. Hopefully an iOS update will fix this shortly.
