iPhone 8p rebooting endlessly

I popped it on the wireless charger at work this morning and it's been on the white screen with the apple logo ever since. I tried every hard reset option I know, but it won't do anything. The most I was able to get it to do was to shut off for a short amount of time and then came right back to reboot screen.
Going to Apple after work obviously, but was wondering if anyone has experienced this. It's a brand new phone - got it replaced last week.

they made me run recovery on it and update from iTunes - didn't work
they made me restore from previous backup - 1st try did nothing, second try erased the phone, but still wouldn't boot up
when they ran their diagnostics in the store they couldnt communicate with the phone so they said it's most likely a hardware thing.
They gave me a new one - 3rd one in less than a week
As much as I love Apple Customer support, I really hope this is the last phone I get until it's time to upgrade and I don't wanna see an Apple store for a long long time !
