iPhone activation server temporarily unavailable

Hi, I'm trying to install iPhone OS 3.0 and while it downloaded just fine the actual install is not going just fine. The install constantly fails with the error "iPhone activation server temporarily unavailable" no matter how many times I retry the install. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any tips on how to accomplish a successful install of this update? Thanks! :)
 
I think you have to wait and install it tomorrow.
Everybody is tying to install it nog because it just got available, so I'd say try it again later.. sorry...
 
I got in before the bell but my brother did it at 1:20pm CST and it was down. You will have to keep trying.. I am sure the activation servers at ATT are down and will be up in a few hours. Glad they did this before the 3G S phones came out then it would have been another millions phones to compete with ... LOL.
