new bee here..

ok i have a jailbroken ipod touch im thinking of just returning it so that i can get a iphone..plus the ipod touch relys on wifi alot..
i read that 112 cant be unlock at the monment do to bootloader..

my question is?

if i decide get a iphone with a 112 on it can i go ahead with the activation from att..i dont really care about ANYSIM at the moment.. will this stop me from putting 3rd party apps if i activate it? whats my first step that i need to do?
at this time all i want is ATT service and be able to put 3rd party apps on it..can someone put me in the right diretion of doing this?

thanks..ps move if wrong place

You'll need to downgrade to 1.1.1 use OktoPrep and then update to 1.1.2.
Jailbreak will work for your 3rd party apps.

so i can downgrade then jailbreak it to run 3rd party apps..then update to 112 but the only thing that i cant do is install any sim right? as of now..because of that bootload been block so if i do want to change sim i need that turbosim? right??

Yes, as of Today don't use anySIM because of the new bootloader.

Follow the instructions on the website, there is a "flowchart", click there and it will guide you step by step.

As a quick summary:
1- Downgrade to 1.1.1
2- Jailbreak with jailbreakme.com and install app installer + all necessary stuff
3- Install Oktoprep
4- Update to 1.1.2 (if you want to, if not go to step 6)
5- Jailbreak with latest Jailbreak available
6- Install all the apps you want and enjoy your iPhone!
