Ever since the first public beta of 12.3 came out I've been unable to open iPhone and iPad apps installed via the Mac App Store on my 24" iMac. I figured this was just a bug but the issue hasn't been resolved in each beta version, and I haven't seen anyone else post the same issue. Is anyone else having this problem or know of a way to fix it? I've tried deleting and reinstalling the apps. They download just fine, but double clicking on their icons in the Finder or Launchpad does nothing.

They stopped that loop hole didn't they? I remember I could install IOS apps on my M1 MBP at the time, but later it stopped working.

Actually what they disallowed was side loading iOS/iPadOS apps that weren't available to M1 Mac users in the Mac App Store. You can still download and use iOS/iPadOS apps that the developers have allowed to be in the MAS, and they even promote it on the front page.

However, that being said, I actually figured it out and thought I'd post back here in case anyone else has the same issue in the future. Somehow my startup security permissions were changed to the most permissive, and I had to boot into Recovery Mode and launch the Startup Security Utility to change it. Once that was done, the apps could open again. My Apple Pay also wasn't working due to this, which I didn't even notice at first.
