Hi,

I'm new to this board and I'm interested on what you guys think of this video - http://youtube.com/watch?v=AJoYvgF6sTI

Does the Touch really load Safari and Youtube faster? I'm new to all these gadgets and I'm definitely interested in buying a Touch or an Iphone. Just don't know which one to buy. Any help or comments would be very much appreciated!

Ah! It is my first post!

Anywho...

I was gifted a iPod Touch for x-mass. But I exchanged it for the iPhone. Before I did I used the touch for a few days and was really happy with it. When I got my iPhone I was also really happy but I learned a few things (well at least I think I did).

1) The touch seemed faster than the iPhone. Eg, if you were at a web page and then moved the phone on it's side the transition of the page would be much smoother on the iPod touch.

2) The iPod touch has different graphics when pressing OK / CANCLE on the popup wifi windows. On the iPod touch it would make a wave from where you touched the button. But on the iPhone it would just unfade the background. Basically different animations.

3) Lad times of web pages was much faster on the iPod touch.

I can't tell the difference between the two though I can't give an objective comparison because I've never used my iPhone at school where the internet connection is much faster and more reliable.

I noticed this, too! I compared my brother's Touch with my iPhone and Safari was faster on his iPod Touch. and yes, my iPhone was switched on to WiFi. I hope it is not a defect with my iPhone.
