I've searched the forums but can't seem to find an answer. Once I delete an email through my iPhone (gmail account for example) how do i prevent it from showing up through mail. When I delete an email message mail still pulls it up. Can I prevent this?

Click Get Mail in Mail after you delete it in the Mail app on your iPhone.

This doesn't help....Why would I want to go into my Mail app on my Mac after deleting it from my iPhone. I don't even want it showing up in my mail app after I delete from my iPhone. I would prefer my iPhone to synch properly with my mail app on my Mac. Meaning...once I delete from either mail app or iphone then I don't want it to show up again on any system.

Make sure you are using IMAP.

If you retrieve mail via POP, it will not synchronize across mail clients.

I'll try this....Thanks!!!
