iphone and Orange UK

So i've got my iphone unlocked and working on orange uk.

I've spoken to orange and arranged a £5 a month bundle for evening and weekend unlimted data package.

my question - is this edge?
i.e. setting up edge on the iphone with correct setting am i going to get charged for web etc on the iphone in the evenings and weekends.

Is edge the same as regular wap on my old nokia?

i take it your £5 a month is on top of an existing contract?
just curious as i am on orange and getting an iphone shortly
