iPhone and VPN

VPN works great with iPhone.

One question. It does not seem to save the VPN password. Is there a way to do that? Ideally, all I want to connect to VPN is, just slide the buttonn from OFF to ON.

Also, in the main setting screen, if I turn on VPN, it asks for the password but it only puts up the numeric keypad and not the letters. That was very confusing. Currently, to get to VPN, I go to Settings->General->network->vpn->settings, enter the alphanumeric VPN password and then save. At that point it connects.

Thanks for the work around .. its been driving me nuts on how to get reconnected to VPN. I don't understand what the numeric keyboard is for, anything I type in doesn't work.
