iPhone and Ziphone Question...

Hi All,

This is the first time I am posting and please do accommodate me as I dont know much about all this.

Here is what is happening...
I am going overseas for 3 weeks. I need to use my phone there. I called up AT&T and they are asking me $500 deposit for international roaming. I have already paid $1000 for getting an AT&T line as I do not good credit history.

I dont want to pay and lock up another $500 on top.

So, Here is the question. Can I use Ziphone and unlock just for SIM? and then when I come back put everything back in place...like how the phone was before using Ziphone? I have a 2 year contract and plan to keep it. Just for 3 weeks...

hey with ziphone u can unlock it for sim and replace the sim, if u make a backup of the phone on itunes and dont sync it again you can unlock it in ziphone and then when u come back restore from the backup
