Does anyone know of an iphone app that will allow me to make virtual galleries/collections of my photographs directly from my iPhone?

What I am looking for is some sort of functionality that is similar to creating albums in iPhoto, or Collections in Lightroom.

Something that would allow me to batch select a handful of images from a large pool of images, then place this handful of images in their own "album", then ideally also allow me to sort and organize the images within this album however I see fit.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

I'm not sure this is what you're looking for but I use an app called Picture Safe. It's selling point is keeping your photos safe from prying eyes but I use it to sort photos into different albums. It allows you import multiple photos at a time from the camera roll. I assume it allows imports from albums created via iPhoto or iTunes but I haven't tried that myself.

[rant] It's absolutely ridiculous that the iPhone doesn't support a basic feature like album creation and photo sorting on the phone itself. How this can be seen as anything other than a design flaw is beyond me....grrr... [/rant] (sorry, had to get that out of my system..)

Unfortunately, PS doesn't appear to allow sorting within an album (photos are displayed in the order they were imported) and it doesn't support collections of albums.

There's another app I just downloaded called PrivatePics. It's similar to PS and does allow for photo sorting within an album. There's a free version of that app available if you want to test it out.

Hope this helps...

Picture Safe does allow for the ordering of photos. Go to the homescreen, hut the edit button, then tap the title of the album, it'll take you to the next screen that shows the option to organize the album.

D'oh! You're right - thanks Gokunama!
