So I have the AT&T family talk plan and just bought an iPhone for my wife but when I read the user agreement it says they have to do a credit check. Her credit is terrible and I would most likely have to use me for the credit check.

Now even though my credit will get approved for her to use the phone will she be able to use the phone as if it were hers? Meaning can she use her iTunes account, use her address book, sync up with her ibook, etc, etc... or will she have to activate everything adn merge her iTunes music, movies, pics and contacts from my MBP?

Did that make any sense?

If you are on a family plan with you as the primary on the plan, I believe you can assign the phone to be used with any number on the plan. You can also "own" a plan and have someone else be the primary user. You might need to call AT&T about it, but it can be done.
