iPhone as a remote for iPad

Hello to all,

I would like to hook up my iPad to a TV to play movies, and have my iPhone as a remote control (ie. play, stop, pause, volume ...). I understand both devices are bluetooth, and should be able to talk to each other directly.

Would this be possible? Any app?

This would be great for me too for when I have the iPad in a headrest mount for my daughter in the backseat watching cartoons on long journeys.
