Hi guys,

I'm having a recurring problem with my iPhone. Some times when I turn it on, it asks to be plugged into iTunes. This appears to be becoming more frequent. It wont allow normal use, and the only thing it will do is make emergency calls until I plug it in.
This morning it did it and I plugged it in, but there was no internet, so it appears whatever it is doing requires the internet on as well.

Once it is plugged in it takes a few seconds before a message comes up saying 'iPhone is activated', and then normal use resumes.

Its an iPhone 3G on O2, and I've had it about 3 months.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mine did the same thing a couple hours ago. Although I keep turning it off and on its not happening anymore. What have you done with yours?

:(

I reset it to factory settings and have waited a few days and it did it again this morning. :(

I've not tried turning it on and off again, although I will next time.

I think my next step will be to contact O2 and see what they say. Good luck with yours!
