My phone was dead for approximately 30 min today.

I was using it to surf the internet. Left it in the car for 5 minutes to help my friend clean his car off from snow, came back and it was dead!!!!!!!

Nothing worked, plugged into computer, nothing, plugged it into charger nothing, pressed both buttons, nothing. Read Apple support, nothing.

Then eventually pressing the Home button and the power button finally worked and all is well.

That was scary.

it was not out of juice because it had 40% power when it finally came back on and right before it died it was not low.

Was your car warmed up?? I actually fried my 2nd iPhone because I used it for an extended period in the cold, then took in into a warm environment. Easily replaced at the Apple Store.
