iPhone backup has future date

Today I noticed my husbands iPhone showed his last backup as 2/16/2023 (today 2/14) size 0 KB. How is this possible? And if done intentionally, what would be the reasons?

Guessing here not but could you have encountered a bug?
Or maybe your husbands set the wrong date set on the phone? Wrong Timezone?
Strange with the 0 bytes tho, what iOS version?
