iPhone backup location

I did a complete restore on wife's 2G iPhone. She blew up, because she had a lot of stuff in the notes app. Need to know location of backup file/folder so I can use Time Machine to go back and get the old restore backup. I can't just connect to iTunes and do restore because she's now using 3G iPhone which doesn't have the old notes sync'd. Please, please help.

I was wondering the same thing, I did a search and couldn't find it on the forums. I have Vista btw. Any one know the location in Visat or any MacOS let us know please. thanks.

Just restore to a previous backup by choosing the date you want. There are arrows on the restore screen you can choose which restore to do.
