Iphone Battery and Battery Percentage icon

Bring back the battery percentage functions like old iPhones and Samsungs Lg etc.

Your wish may come true…
iPhone 14 will have a smaller obstruction on the top of the display, replacing the notch.
With the added space it creates, maybe, just maybe. Apple will bring the battery % icon back on a future version of iOS.

In the meantime, a workaround is to use the gigantic battery widget on your Home Screen. I have an 8 Plus that still has the battery % indicator on the top but I still use the giant battery widget too.

Right, thats the same reason I dont upgrade. I have the SE 2020 knowing I still have my battery percentage icon and also because of the ugly notch, but looks like thats changing now. Hopefully they can add that % icon again soon.

How often do people need to know the exact percentage of their battery?! You can pull the control centre down to see it of have it on a widget. Also you get a more than good enough idea from the icon which goes red if you drop below 20% if you are in that position.

More of a first world problem. Battery widget works just fine and it is easier to see.
