Alright. Can someone please tell me the real deal on how to charge the battery for the 1st time? Do you let it drain all the way then charge it? OR do you charge it till it's full. I got my New Today! so before i do anything i want to know how to charge the battery... Thanks!

After not being able to charge fully, I just got a full charge icon today.
My advice would be do let it do a full discharge. Then plug it in using the AC adapter (not USB), and let it do a full charge until you see the 'plug' icon in the upper right.

I had the same issue with the charging and such.
I have a question to ask you as well,
Is your iPhone unusually HOT?
my iphone was not charging (even overnight) to full and was getting hot (not hot enough to burn, but unusually hot for a device)
This worried me, but last night i devided to turn it off (hold sleep button till it ask you to turn off, then slide to shutdown)
then i charged it overnight again
this morning i was happy as my iphone was fully charged and was COLD too?!
(plug was still in)
Im not sure what it is, but i think there might be some wierd bug in the system, this got me thinking.
The iphone 'remembers' what you last did in the different apps
(last page you viewed on the safari, the last song played from ipod, who you were messaging with, etc...)
i wonder if the issue is much like a 'cashe' issue with other programs,
where continuious use of the apps is causing a 'leak' somewhere (not closing properly), hence causing the cpu to contiuously work, even while sleeping, thus getting hot (not sexy hot either, lol)
anyways, if im correct, then a patch is possible to correct this,
but for now tunring off the iphone 1-2 times a week should be good (or whenever it gets hot)
Note: I only turned off once last night, so I dont know if this issue only occurs once then clears from a shutdown or not; or even if syncing might cuase it, who really knows.

I also added a story from today about a guy who had a very hot iphone and it died on him, and had to get it replaced.
(not to scare you, but to inform you that if your iphone is hot, you might want to turn it off for a short break. just saying, lol)

Alright i Talked to Apple Tech. If you have everything open like Safari, Ipod, Youtube, stocks etc.... it will over heat b /c u are running all the porgrma in the background when u press home it does NOT clear or close apps. if you watn to close apps. HOLD the HOME button for bout 8-10 when ur in the App program it will force quit. You will save battery and will also keep it cool!!

but they should patch it up with a simple work around to not 'store' actions for the apps, as this it what really creates the issue then.
the app should auto close to the last 'non-action' in the corresponding app.
