Hey guys,

Just got a new iphone yesterday under warranty due to light leakage. But I have a question. Is it "normal" for a new iphone to go from shutting down due to low battery to a full charge within 1 hour?
It would be great to hear that the answer is yes because that would be an awesome quick charge. But I feel that something is off here. Hope you guys can help.
Sorry for the newbie question. I just got an iphone last week.

1. Drain battery until icon indicates empty.
2. Wait a minimum of 2 hours.
3. Plug into wall outlet.
4. Continue until battery is full ON GREEN LOCKSCREEN BATTERY DISPLAY.

Thanks ntrigue,

So I should wait till the phone turns off by itself and wait a few hours before plugging in to charge to full??

an hour seems about right though, isnt it? maybe i loose track of time when charging but it seems like an hour or so from empty to a full charge
