iPhone Battery Percent Or Battery App Percent

I have two battery apps, MyBattery and About Battery. They both say my battery % is 85. My iPhone running 3.0 says it is at 75. Which is correct?

I've noticed this happens on both my 3G and 3GS.

+1 ^^^ Yup, always go with what came out of the box with the iPhone. Or you could add 75 & 85, then divide by 2 and you'll get an average of 80. Not sure if that helps...

I have noticed that my phone will say it has 10% left and as soon as I plug it in, it will jump up to say 30%. Maybe those battery apps are correct.

Run it until completely dead and find out!
