I recently just got and iPhone 3GS and I just have a few questions about the battery because I want my iPhone to stay healthy as long as possible.

Does leaving the iPhone in autolock every so often when using it eventually drain the battery?

Does leaving the iPhone plugged in to a computer and using it after it has been charged drain the battery or damage it?

How low should I let the battery get then recharge it? I've been letting it go to 54% at the most then recharging it or should I let it go down a bit more then recharge it?

Does using it till it gets to say 54% then charging it, does doing this say through out the day in a nine hour period or a little more, is it ok for the battery?

Sorry for the questions. I'm sure they have been asked before but I just want to make my phone stay healthy.
