Hi All,

Yesterday I used one of my friend's Samsung Galaxy S7 with Samsung Gear Headset. It was simply WOWwww.. Specially when he shown me Assasin Creed VR Demo and one VR roller-coaster demo.

Could you please suggest if there is any equally good or better VR headset for iPhone 6s. I was so impressed with Gear that I want to try VR on my iPhone now.

If you could also suggest few good VR iPhone apps+ games using gyroscope that would be really helpful.

Thanks in Advance.

You're not going to get anything as good as the Gear VR on iOS. You can get varying levels of quality with the cheaper VR headsets (usually built with the Google Cardboard v1 or v2 spec), but Gear VR is specifically built with the Galaxy S6/7 (or Note) phones in mind with actual hardware in the headset that connects to the phone to allow for lower latency and whatnot.

Gear VR is closer to the Rift and Vive than it is to Cardboard. Cardboard isn't in the same league.

Hey!
I am also an iPhone user and really wanted a vr headset to enjoy vr apps and 360 videos. I purchases a Stark Focus vr headset for iphone and it works great! Check them out here....

Oculus has permanently reduced the Rift price, I bought mine a few months ago with their summer sale. I don't see iPhone will ever come close to the Rift's VR experience, so I will just leave my iPhone 8 Plus to other tasks.
