Hi, im using an iphone 4s on IOS 6.1.3 that i just bought from someone on kijiji. it worked well up until 2 days ago when it got reported stolen and its now blocked.

whats my best solution? can i unlock it with my carrier? (Telus)

If i unlock and jailbreak it will it work?

If it is blacklisted it is unusable. Nothing you can do.
Return the phone and report the seller to the
police.

If it still has warranty just take it to the Apple Store and make up something is wrong with it and the'll swap it out for a refurbished clean imei one.

You mean just defraud Apple?

Besides that to get a replacement they run it through the system, guess what pops up....
