In the upper left corner of my iPhone’s screen it is blurry. There is a rectangle that goes a little past halfway across the screen and about 3/4 in to an inch down. A restart clears it. So does taking a screenshot then tapping on the image and entering markup mode.

Touch screen is still responsive in that area.

I’m currently running iOS 15.5 on and iPhone 13 Pro but it definitely appeared prior to this version. Anyone seen something this?

EDIT: Weird! Everything is low res also too. It’s like I’m looking at a super compressed screenshot. That happened right after I submitted this post.

Attaching a picture of this also.

I've never seen that before... but if it shows up in screenshots then it must be something in software rather than hardware.

Check your accessibility settings; I can't imagine that any would blur the screen but you never know.

A simple restart has yet again fixed it.

I’m glad to hear that this looks specifically software related to others too. It’s almost like the Control Center effect got applied in that one area. The secondary blur issue where the whole screen looked like it was blurry, IDK Wwhat that was but these are handheld computers so I am just guessing that iOS’ display driver glitched. I only took the Safari screenshot but it was system wide at that point.

Stranger things have happened.

I wanted to document it as it occurred. Thanks for the suggestions.

My wife has inherited my sons old iPhone 11 on 15.6 and is seeing a similar blurry corner problem. She noticed this randomly happening. If seems to occur on various iPhone models. Switched to dark mode it cleared. However turned it to horizontal position and it came back blurry in dark mode. Going to try light mode and set it to auto to see if it appears less frequently. Don't think it happens on the Home Screen.
