iPhone bottom speaker(s)

As many of you know, when playing music through the iphone's speakers on the bottom of it, it doesn't sound very good. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there two speakers on the bottom of the phone or is the right side a vent?? I covered the left side and it all but muted the sound so I'm curious if I blew one of my speakers or if that's how it is on all the iphones.....

Only one speaker, on left. The right side is the microphone.
