Just wondering if this is accurate, but I just purchased a brand new iPhone 4S (off contract of course) and the box features an iPhone screen with the iOS 7 layout, with the Game Center icon and whatnot. Would it be safe to assume that this phone is a holdover from iOS7? That's kind of what I'm hoping for. I've seen people talk a little about it on the iPad forums but I'm not sure if this might be the case with iPhones as well. :apple:

They do update the box art when a generation is carried over to the following year.

Man, I hope when the OP gets his new phone this doesn't turn in another "I BOUGHT AN IPHONE FROM EBAY AND ITS BLACKLISTED" thread.

It's fine, thanks though. Either way even if it had a bad ESN or something I'm just hot spotting off of my unlimited iPad LTE plan to make calls like a (sort of) normal person. $30/mo with Hangouts + Google Voice. I actually thought of looking for something with a bad ESN because it would have saved me money and performed just as well at what I want to do.. heh.

If there were any problems I'd take it up with the seller and eBay anyways. eBay tends to side with the buyer more often than not these days, and yeah, it ends up pissing off a lot of sellers.
