Look like your Z key is stuck as well.
Did you try a complete restore?

Sometimes here mostly there
Thats not the best site for iphone help. Try to restore with 1.0.2 which should be located in your iTunes folder. Just DO NOT RESTORE TO 1.1.2 by mistake. And try hacktheiphone.com
Its really good site with extensive manuals.

Well, it sounds like you tried to downgrade the firmware and were unsuccessful. So restore it to the newest firmware and try again. Or sit tight and wait for more hacks for the current firmware. It's your choice.

I guess someone else unlocked the iPhone for you?

If you restore the firmware you will lose the unlock.
