did anyone else notice that the date on the iPhone Calender icon is the current days date?

I just saw it. Yesterday it said "Friday 29", now its "Saturday 30"

if everyone else has noticed then sorry, just thought that was kind of cool.

Thats the way your iCal icon in the dock works. I can only imagine it would be the same way on the phone that runs OS X.

It only updates everytime you open it though.

Perhaps we have a runaway favorite new feature of Leopard? Listen macfanbois, you heard it here first, the iCal icon finally shows the correct date whether or not it's being run. :p

I never have iCal open for more then 5 minutes at a time and it is not kept in the doc, so I guess I have just never notice.

I also noticed this today.

This nice thing about the icon on the iPhone is that it doesn't have to be used to reflect the current date, like iCal.
