Hi all,
I’m looking for help on this weird behavior of the standard camera app that puzzles me.
I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max, so 3 lenses.
Using the Apple camera app, if I take a picture on 1x, the 26mm lens is correctly used. If I switch to 2x, with my surprise the 26mm lens is still used, instead of the 52mm “tele”.
This does not happen with a third party camera app like Halide.
Below you can see some screenshots taken in the photo app, showing the image information. Normally I use heif, but I switch to jpeg in one of the many attempts I have done.
It must be something related to the camera app itself, but what?
I have disabled hdr, Live Photos, show area outside canvas, everything I could think of having an influence, but the 52mm lens is never used.
Any idea why?
