Hi,

While in class I often put my iPhone on top of my iPad as I don’t have much space.
I had an iPhone SE and had no issue. However I just switched to an iPhone X and the camera bump did many quite big scratches on the iPad screen.

Do you guys know if there is any way to obtain assistance from Apple ? Both devices are less than 3 months old but I have no AppleCare

Even with the best will in the world, I doubt very much that you’d be able to persuade Apple to help you with this one.

The camera cover glass is some Saphire component and probably very hard and scratch resistant. iPad screens need to be protected otherwise they scratch.

I also don’t believe Apple should perform anything for free in this scenario. Better luck next time.
