Iphone camera not working - showing black and white lines

Hi all
From today morning for some reason - my iphone camera has stopped working.
When I click on the camera icon - all I see is black and white horizontal lines running down the screen - when i take a picture - it shows the pic with pink and green lines.

I tried restarting, turning it off and on but no luck
I even searched on google but no one seems to have this issue.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Sounds like something has shot craps. I suggest taking it into your local apple store and getting it replaced, assuming it is still under warrenty.

If you can't do that, restore, and see what that does.
