Super noob question here, beware!!
How do you zoom the 3G camera?? I went to a concert and was trying to zoom the entire time and couldnt figure it out for the life of me.

That was one of the first questions many people asked when the original iPhone came out as well
Extend your arm toward the subject to zoom.
For 2x zoom do above and walk closer to subject.
To pan out simply reverse the process.
And shame on you for taking pics at a concert. I go to see the band not thirty people's arms raised taking bad cell phone pics. (I'm just kidding, btw...not really. I hate it)

It doesn't have optical zoom, so you can do the cropping later. Take the picture and then zoom in is what I'm saying.
