Does anyone else think the iPhone cases made by Apple this year are boring and bland? Like, they're all dark and depressing looking with the exception of the coral and yellow colors. It's like the colors this year are the pallet of an old victorian haunted house in Seattle. Not saying to have silly designs, but just brighter and more modern colors.

It's a set up... People will buy the drab colors because they need a case now... and then in the spring they release bright fun colors and people buy another case. These guys are geniuses at taking peoples money lol.

Yeah Apple seem to be going more in with seasonal fashion trends with their devices. Not only do the cases suck from Apple but the wrist straps for the watch are **** this year too. I wanted a bold colour but they are dull muted colours so I went with the Midnight one lol.

In the Apple watch face editor all the colours are set by seasons/years. So i wouldn't be surprised if they are treating straps/cases the same way. Like you say, they'll probably release Spring/Summer cases and straps.

And some people laugh when you say Apple is a fashion brand...

I just ordered the guava because the pink/red/orange toned colors are my thing, but I find the others unappealing. I’ve never had an Apple silicone case before, and I’m a little concerned about reports of them falling apart, so we’ll see…

I have been exploring third-party “fun” cases (Casetify, Casely, Burga, Stringberry, Pela, etc) but it’s kind of daunting. A lot of them are cute but I can’t see them in person and I don’t want to go through the hassle of buying and returning. And since I looked at some on Instagram I’m now being bombarded with case ads on Instagram. Rhinoshield has a whole line of cute Peanuts cases that would go well with the Snoopy AW faces, but they seem a little bulky.

Apple may have reasons to have these colors on their cases. Some might like these colors and others like yourself do not like them. Generally in Spring, Apple releases spring related colors which are brighter. Do not loose your hope yet 😊
So, get non Apple cases from other vendors who have brighter and modern colors. I believe there are a lot of them 😊 and your day will be brighter too😊
Do not let boring and bland Apple case color spoil your day 😊

I’ve ordered some Zoof cases off of Amazon. They have a white silicone and also a pebble leather brown. The prices are cheap so I’m wondering how they’ll be. But the reviews are really good.

I don't care how exciting their cases are I'm not paying more than $20 (Canadian) for a case.

I get it, you get what you pay for but if I'm going to drop $79.99 plus taxes, I might as well just take my chances without a case and buy Apple Care+.

I have cases from ESR, Ringke and Spigen.

I was very torn between orange sorbet and guava. I ultimately went with guava and I’m very in love with it but I know I would have loved orange sorbet too. Other than those two yes the colors are so sad.

This is going to be me in Spring 2024 when the other half of the leaked FineWoven case colors are released.

I prefer Fall Rustic colors. I hate bright pastel colors. Especially for a electronic device. I wish they kept that Purple color they had for the 14 Pro/Max to the 15 pro/max. I really liked that color.

I originally ordered the storm blue silicon case but when I went to pick up my phone and case I thought the case looked a bit boring with the blue titanium phone so changed to the orange sorbet case. It looks really good but, yes, apart from the orange and guava they're all a bit dull.

Speaking of cases I have always used otter box defender cases on every iPhone I have ever owned I work in factory and always on cement and the defender case has always worked really good even when Apple switched back to a all glass iPhone i know they make the phone bulkie but I would rather have my phone protected all the time instead of having to go in and pay to have it repaired and yes I do have Apple care just In case as well 😁👍🏻

I never buy Apple cases. They are way overpriced for what you get. I always get the Spigen Liquid Crystal case because it's thin and offers good protection while also allowing me to still see the iPhone's aesthetics. Apple has made it very tempting to go caseless this year with the new smoother design, but I won't give in.
