While finding a way to save battery life, I read a thread that said resetting all settings might help.

While resetting, my phone died. Now it is has been charging, but won't turn on.

It shows that it is charging, but its been about an hour, and nothing.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks!

Try putting it into DFU mode and restore.....you didn't tell us ....what iPhone, how old. IOS.....let's hear something more about it.....

Sorry about that, iPhone 5. Purchased from a friend, I think it was bought around late 2013 early 2014. I believe it is IOS 9, can't remember the specific version.

Hope it helps!

Could be bad battery....but anyway, you have to try to restore first.....if you make it, perfect, if not than you have a hardware problem....

Yeah, I am fairly certain I have a dead battery. Do you know if Apple stores do battery replacement?
