hello

I am new to this site I need some help, I got a iphone 3g about 3 - 3 1/2 months ago, when I got the phone I also got a Griffin case for it and the sales person put it on. Well I never took it off unless to clean the screen, when I took it off one night I noticed that some light from the screen was coming through a crack. It seems that the silver/crome part that meets the screen is coming apart. I am not sure what to do about it, is it to late for apple to help me. I really could use some help. Don't know if it will make a difference but I am in canada and the only apple store is about 2-3 hours away. Also I have never dropped the phone or anything like that.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post sure hope there is someone who can help me out with this.

I just noticed the light coming through on the left. I don't think your phone is compng apart, just the build quality. I am considering going back to my 1st gen iPhone for the better build quality.

Sounds like a 'light leak'

Some have had sucess replacing their phone for this problem, others have had a bit of a battle. There are posts threads already abount this.

Your phone should still be under warrenty anyway.
