their all over the place, what better to do then copy the competitions when your own product sux?

It's easier for an illustrator to use a handy screen image to paste in, than to take the time to find a real one for that phone.

Happens all the time in ads. Nothing to do with obsession. More like laziness or lack of time.

Kind of like the way people in this thread didn't take the time or effort to fix their own post goofups.

The funny thing is Google Maps for Android is miles ahead of the dated iPhone version and that screenshot doesn't show the best features they are talking about.

These look like images from carriers' sites rather than the manufacturers of the phone or the OS. Where did you find them?

How is this the iPhone competition ? These ads are by ESPN and Verizon, not by Nokia or Motorola.

So it seems to be it's the advertisers that are iPhone obsessed, to the point of using iPhone screen grabs on any device out there, not the iPhone's competition.
