iPhone configuration Utility - block settings and LDAP settings

Hi

Does anyone know if you can block access to the settings app (specifically network settings) via the iPhone config utility?

Also has anyone set up LDAP on a profile through the config utility? Each time i set it up it denies access to the internet :S Any tips of guides on how to set it up?

I have solved the LDAP issue. Had to have the authentication option on, on the phone even though no details are required.

Still can't lock down settings though.

What do you mean by, "Lock down settings"? I have a relatively extensive knowledge of ICU but don't know what you are trying to lock down

Basically i work in a school and we are wanting to give sixth form access to our wireless. For IOS devices ICU looks ideal as i can get rid of access to youtube etc but when i apply the profile they can still get to the network settings and see/change the network proxy.

Is there anyway to block access to the network option?

Working for schools is the best, not in terms of pay ... but it's fun work!

So the options are editable through the wireless editor, correct? But not in the General>Config profile?

I know we have ours set up so that the networks cannot be deleted or modified in any way. I'll have to check on Monday as today is a holiday

Ahh shoot You cannot password protect the proxies themselves. I had really hoped iOS 5 would bring support for this, but ... maybe 6 will?
