Im just wondering, When you go to a web site on the iphone, does that count as air time with your cellphone provider? or can u connect to the internet through your own wireless network at home or in the office type thing? Just wondering if your paying for being on the net with the iphone or if you CAN use your own wireless internet.

thanks.

Nobody knows the exact details of the iPhone and the service yet to come. It will most likely require some kind of data plan which means that it will be airtime free, but like I said. They just announced the product today, the finer details will come over the months to come leading up to the release.

duh

It has EDGE powered mobile internet for internet access wherever there is cell access, but it will have a monthly fee (like any phone data plan) and be not that fast. It has wifi to connect to any and all wireless access points to get online, also, which is of course the preferred way to get online.
