iPhone iPhone/Contacts Not Recognizing My Number?

I have Verizon and an iPhone 11 pro.

once a fay or so I send myself a text to make sure everything is operating properly.

As of late when I get my text it doesn’t recognize me as being in my own contacts because it puts a +1 in front of my number.

ios 13 bug?

my contacts are stored on googles server. If that makes a difference.

Make sure your own contact card is correctly formatted with the international dialling code.

I’ve experienced this too, it started in a public beta. It’s very annoying.

Incorrect phone number formatting losing contacts

Something weird which I spotted in the public beta of iOS 13 (and something I reported to Apple through the Feedback app) is where a phone number is malformed and as such when in the Messages app, none of your contacts have their names, it's just numbers instead. I'm in the UK so phone numbers...
