Hello,

Am i able to buy an unlocked iphone from somewhere and then buy a separate o2 contract such as online 45 and put that simcard into the iphone?

Would i have all features and internet etc?

Is this possible?

yes, all possible
i have it, as do many others
you need to unlock the iphone (using ziphone or pwnage) and then just put the sim into the phone
and yes, you have all features except visual voicemail, although you have normal voicemail

wait a few weeks though, the 3g iphone is reported to be released soon, and the current iphone is hard to find as it has been effectively discontinued

waiting for the 3g iphone probably gonna be longer than just couple of weeks. It is going to take time for people to unlock the the new iphone. Just my 2 cent
