iPhone: crashed and screen turned black - restored, fixed, but now what?

Hey guys

I have an iPhone week 39. It was working fine in 1.1.1 but then one day it stopped working (the screen was always black). A restore fixed this, but should I be worried in terms of hardware? Do you think the iphone might have some sort of problem in it or was the problem 100% software?

It seems to be working fine now, I'm going to stress test it to make sure, but it's still very strange that that happened at all

It should be fine now, dont worry! If it keeps happening take it to an Apple store but otherwise its fine!

just curious, but before you did the restore, did you hold the top button and home button for 10 seconds so it would reset?

I've had a couple times where it would not go back to the home screen or the phone slowed down so much it was unusable and I had to do that reset.
